A couple of new questions up on Redux.
Here’s a short clip discussing the writings of N.T. Wright (who I highly recommend!)

Some video clips of Ed Underwood answering questions at Redux are up online.
Here’s one on Immigration and Border Security – seems to be a hot topic among Christians these days!
Here’s an updated version of the Redux trailer that Nate and Delve Films put together.

Here’s a little Redux clip from this last Sunday. I’m getting to do a Q&A session with college and career folks from around Bend tomorrow night – really looking forward to it!
We also have some ideas brewing about traveling around and getting Redux answers from different folks around the country who are experts in different areas. Sounds crazy fun to me!!

I had coffee with a guy this week who told me how he showed his sister (who had walked away from church 30 years ago) a Redux video on Christianity and the Republican Party this past weekend, which sparked a deep and meaningful dialogue between the two on Christianity for the first time in as many years.
Loved the story.
It’s been pretty encouraging lately to see how many ways God is using Antioch to spark spiritual conversations.
Here’s the video he was referring to…

Here’s a little Redux clip from this past Sunday on what it means for David to be a “man after God’s own heart.”

I really loved Luke Hendrix’s answer to the question, “What is Worship?” yesterday at the Redux service.
It’s an amazingly relevant question and Luke gave it a timeless answer.
(P.S. This is an answer that deserves to take a mini “viral spin” so feel free to use the twitter and facebook buttons below to share!)

Redux starts at 11:15 a.m. Sundays. This week Luke Hendrix, Executive Pastor at Imago Dei in Portland, will be joining us for Q&A.
One of the hardest things to talk about in the life of faith is when there is no earthly hope.
When we know things won’t get better and our only hope is a heavenly hope, it can be incredibly difficult to continue to trust in God. I’ve always thought this must have been the situation for Israelites wandering in the desert and knowing they will die without ever seeing the promised land. A while back, I started calling these situations “desert lives” after that analogy – lives or situations what won’t get better.
Someone asked a question along these lines at Redux last Sunday. Below is an attempt at wrestling with the question of desert lives…

Someone asked a question about Bonhoeffer at Redux this week. Loved it!!!!
Now, if someone would just ask a question about C.S. Lewis or Kierkegaard I’d be in heaven!!
(Remember to check Redux out at its new time on Sundays at 11:15 a.m. – right after the main Antioch service)

Excited about the new service time for Redux this Sunday.
Already had a bunch of questions come in… “The Manhattan Declaration,” “Church,” “Calvinism” etc. Gonna be a bunch of fun!!
This little bit from the Redux service at Antioch caused some controversy this past Sunday.
Would love to hear what some other people think?

Someone asked a question this past Sunday at the Redux Q&A Service on Individualism. Somehow it struck a chord and people kept chasing that line of thought and the whole thing turned into a four part series.
Below is the first answer on the history of individualism. If you want to see the others, click here to go to the Redux Vimeo page!!

Dr. Daniel Wallace was in town this weekend for the Kilns College Apologetics Conference. Dr. Wallace is a leading expert on New Testament Greek as well as Textual Criticism and New Testament Manuscripts.
We were lucky enough to have Dr. Wallace join us on Sunday morning for the Redux service. If you weren’t there, you missed out.
Here are a couple of the clips from some extremely relevant questions. The rest can be found on our Vimeo by clicking here.

We’ve been collecting socks at Redux on Sunday mornings. We turned in close to 1,000 Powerbars to Neighbor Impact last month and hope to turn in the same amount of socks next month.
It’s fun to meet together and “do good” all at the same time on Sundays.

I had a chance to catch up with Matt Smith on the phone today. Matt is in Chicago with Brandon meeting intern applicants for Antioch’s summer intern program.
He said something really cool… that the Redux service (Q&A Service) just really connects with the college students they are meeting. He thinks it speaks to the desire for interaction, dialogue and authenticity among college age Christians.
How cool is that?
I love those kind of stories!!
(Here’s a little video from the Vimeo page on why we do Redux.)

Check out this super huge proof of a Redux postcard mailer that’ll be going out soon.
Nate and JC cooked up the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in a print piece – the picture is actually a metallic ink that makes the Redux picture look different from different angles (can’t tell from this picture).
Anyway, I’m really stoked about the Redux service and how it’s going. There’s something super raw and real about the organic flow of questions and answers.
Click on the picture below or go to reduxantioch.org to check out the finished Redux website. Nate found a cool little Vimeo plug-in so make sure you click on “older” in the video player on the VIDEO page.
