Today we drove north out of Phnom Penh to visit World Relief programs in the field. We were out by 6:45 a.m. and not back till 6 p.m. Long trip – complete with eating some fried tarantula to make it authentic – but we saw some of the most beautiful countryside I’ve ever seen.
I’m also incredibly impressed with the scale and quality of World Relief. It’s pretty remarkable how they’ve changed and are changing this country. I’m going to try and post some stuff on this tomorrow.
Tonight we had dinner with World Relief Asia Regional Director, Tim Amstutz, and then caught a Tuk Tuk (motorcycles pulling makeshift trailers with benches bolted in) back to the hotel. Tuck tucks are quickly becoming one of my favorite things about Cambodia!
