October 18th will be Antioch’s 3 Year Anniversary. Pretty hard to believe…
When we planted the church, I don’t think we possibly could have imagined all that has happened in the last three years.
The staff and elders both talked about the anniversary this week. It was cool to see everyone’s excitement. That’s the beauty of celebrations and special occasions – they provide us with a chance to sum things up. The word “touchstones” comes from the memorial rocks and altars that used to be set up as commemorations. Touchstones are the things we can touch and see that immediately conjure up memories of past goodness and God’s faithfulness.
Hopefully the service on the 18th will be a good touchstone for Antioch.
