I was able to help put together an opportunity for Marianne Bach (one of our former interns at Antioch) and a friend of hers from Berlin, Thomas, to head out with World Relief to Eastern Kenya to chronicle the drought and famine occurring in the Horn of Africa while driving past Sacramento on our way to vacation.
Things with Don Golden – World Relief’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Church Engagement – usually happen fast and at odd times like that!
