Today is Mary Joy’s half birthday.
Half birthday’s are an invention we came up with a couple of years ago as a family tradition and a way to celebrate the kids relationally without all the presents and cakes that go with actual birthdays.

P.S. Kip and I decided today over coffee that we’re going to start celebrating our own birthdays at a higher frequency… can you say “1/18th birthday”!!!
