We’re having an Antioch Art Sunday in a week and a half at Antioch.
An “Art Sunday” features the art of artists within our church and is accompanied by an Art Show and sale in the hallways. The art for the Art Sale is comprised of pieces from all types of mediums (jewelry, pottery, photography, paintings and more) and donated by dozens of artists from within the church.
The proceeds of the Art Sale go to help defray costs (signs, mailers etc.) associated with the move to 2 Services.
Tamara and I actually have several pieces of art hanging in our house we’ve purchased on previous Art Sundays. It’s a pretty cool thing to have art from artists in the church in our home (much better than Thomas Kinkade anyway!!)
