College Talk

This morning at Antioch I gave a talk about Kilns College.

And even though I rambled a little too much, we still gave out all 30 packets we had made up and had a line waiting for more after the service!

It’s fun watching the school come together… from the class schedule for the fall to the guest speakers lined up to the web page that goes live this week.

I’m also looking forward to the class I’ll be teaching called “Personal Calling and Mission.” We all want to find purpose and clarity in our lives, but we rarely study ourselves, study the providence of God or look at key biblical stories and texts that give us a clue to how God works in the lives of men and women (hint: it’s usually pretty non-linear and not always crystal clear).

Anyway, lots of good stuff!!

  1. I think your “college talk” was AMAZING. Wonderful illustration with the tree and discussion of the depth and knowledge that are needed in churches and in our Christian walk. It showed what Godly and healthy leadership Antioch has. There’s no doubt God will use the college to bless many.
