I went to a book reading at the Kilns Bookstore this past Sunday from a good friend, Karen Spears Zacharias.
Karen is a legit journalist with articles appearing in Newsweek, CNN, The New York Times and more. Her new book, Will Jesus Buy Me a Double Wide, about the problems with the so-called “prosperity gospel” is excellent.
Karen is a gifted story teller as well as researcher and the insights on separating the real gospel from this Americanized variant are well worth it.
