Following her time at USC, she continued her postsecondary experience on the East Coast, working at the New England Board of Higher Education—researching and evaluating the effectiveness of remediation programs in the New England area—while also serving as the Development & Speech Writer for Emerson College’s Office of Institutional Advancement. Most recently she worked at Central Oregon Community College, serving the College in the role of Admission Coordinator. Melissa also brings to Kilns College a background in public relations and marketing.
Melissa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of Southern California and her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Harvard University. She was born and raised in Southern California and after living for a period of time in Boston, is delighted to now call Central Oregon home.
