The Mission Kids Music Project – Volume 1.
This is one of the coolest projects we’ve been able to work on at Antioch in a long while!
Mission Kids is a program through Antioch designed to help parents raise compassionate and mission minded kids.
The idea is simply to equip churches and parents with the tools needed to instill and nurture virtues of justice and compassion in children.
As part of the program (set to relaunch at this year’s Justice Conference), Linda, Justin, Ben, Micah, Grace and a host of others collaborated on a music CD that is a collection of original pop songs.
The goal for the music project was to create catchy tunes that kids would listen to and memorize, but that parents would enjoy and want to listen to as well. I never thought, however, they’d be able to hit the target as well as they did!
My kids are going to wear this thing out!!
You can pick up a copy of the new CD at Antioch Church, The Kilns Bookstore or at the conference bookstore at The Justice Conference in Portland on February 24+25th.
