I took a break from blogging these last two weeks for the first time in 5 years.
I’d realized that blogging had become a guilt endeavor – just get something up – rather than a meaningful representation of my thoughts or what God is teaching me.
For quite a while, those around me have been nudging me to write more often, more in-depth and to pursue writing for publication. It’s something I’ve wanted as well, but haven’t seem to be able to find the time to do…
This year, however, I’m making commitments to build time for writing – blogging and other – into my schedule.
I’m excited to see where it can go and, most of all, I’m stoked to think about writing from passion and conviction rather than guilt.
