I can’t remember when I started loving history, but I do remember when I began to love philosophy. I was a senior at Clemson University and somehow found the tape ministry of Ravi Zacharias. His intellectual approach to teaching, preaching, and explaining Christianity really appealed to me — and it wasn’t long till I was listening to his tapes on a walkman wherever I went on campus. It was through Dr. Zacharias that I began to love philosophy and eventually decided to pursue it in graduate school.

Pastor: I totally agree with you about Ravi. Did you know that he is one of the few, if not the only, Christian speaker to address a large group of Mormons recently? It was a fascinating series of lectures to say the least! I believe they are avaliable on CD at http://www.rzim.org/
