As I’m getting older, I’m really getting picky about who I see as a teacher or who I look to as a teacher.
Years ago, the list was long.
These days, I notice a difference between those who can talk and those who can teach.
Teaching has become more about wisdom, experience, education, calling and gifting. It is different than extroversion, verbosity, dogmatism, humor or desire.
I’m picky.
The upside, however, is a certain quality and efficiency to my time, my reading and my listening. I’ll take the one teacher gifted by God over a hundred others…
