A Theology of Creativity

Theology of Creativity

“Man is never truly himself except when he is actively creating something.” – Dorothy Sayers

This week at Antioch we started our new Innovation series. What is creativity? Is it spiritual? Is it a mandate? Is it theological?

I will be teaching a course this Fall at Kilns College on this very topic. The course — A Theology of Creativity, Innovation and Leadership — is  designed to introduce students to the foundations of creativity via a theology of creativity, and to demonstrate how that shapes an innovative and progressive leadership mentality. This course will be hands-on and infused with art, theology, philosophy and contemporary analysis of innovative corporations and leaders.
