Over the past month I’ve developed a mental picture that helps remind me what my job is at Antioch.
I picture myself standing with all the butts of Antioch about ceiling high in the air. It’s not a twisted picture – just what I think it would / should look like if I am under the church and trying my best to serve, empower, unleash, equip, encourage, release and lift everyone up.
The church isn’t here to serve Ken. God is not growing Antioch and bringing people to come and serve my ego or needs. Rather, God has placed me in this church to serve it and to meet the needs of those He brings.
If I can keep myself focused on “Butts in the air…” I’ll be doing well.
