Pretty cool weekend coming up this week.
Good friend Ed Underwood, Pastor of Church of the Open Door, is coming up and giving a message based on his new book Reborn to Be Wild. It is a semi-autobiographical account of the Jesus Movement of the 70’s that Ed was a part of and his account of how the energy of that movement dissipated.
Ed is the most radical 60+ year old I know. I’d charge a hill with him by my side any day.
In addition to Ed, blues hall of famer and an original Jesus Movement rocker, Darrell Mansfield will be playing some music at Antioch followed by a concert at the Kilns Bookstore that night.
