Excitement is continuing to build for the new academic year at Kilns College! I’ll be sharing more in the coming month but right now I want to encourage you to mark your calendar for our Fall Kick-Off on September 8th from 6:30-8pm. This year’s guest speaker will be Dr. Reggie Williams, Professor of Christian Ethics at McCormick Theological Seminary.
Dr. Williams’ work and studies have been motivated by a desire to see the gospel at work in society. Rather than just accumulating theological knowledge, he wants that knowledge to shape how he lives out what he believes. That motivation ultimately lead him to study ethics and he now holds a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics from Fuller Theological Seminary. His teaching interests include the incarnational ethics of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Dr. Martin L. King, Jr.
I hope you’ll join us to hear Dr. Williams speak on The Experience of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in the Harlem Renaissance.
