A week ago we sent out 5,000 postcards to some neighborhoods in Bend. The postcard was understated and simply pointed people to the Antioch website.
We estimate that 3 – 5 % of those who received the postcard actually made it to our website (roughly 150 people). Of those, several came to the public launch this past Sunday.
One woman came into my office this week and made the comment that she believes her prayer for a church may have been answered by a simple little postcard she received in the mail.
Two things come to mind: (1) isn’t it funny how God works, and (2) maybe I should have sent out more postcards…
