One of the neat things in the Christian life is when you run across something in you, a strength, a habit, a virtue or a healthy disposition that you know you didn’t pick up from family, school or friends.
These are the things you learned from God. They are the evidences of His presence in your life. They are, as Paul referred to them, the fruit of the Spirit.
It brings up an interesting point about church. We have to keep finding ways to point people back to God if He is the one who does a work in people’s lives.
Maybe it would be good to have a sermon series on prayer or spiritual disciplines?
