Valentine’s Tradition

Valentine's Tradition

I’m a big fan for making memories and creating traditions. Tamara and I want our kids to be full of fond memories from their childhood and home (and nothing cuts a memory more than the repetition that comes from traditions over the years).

We’ve got plenty of em’… the way we celebrate Christmas (all month long) to celebrating “half birthdays” (I take the girls out with just daddy on half birthdays).
Today, Tamara and I came up with a new one – largely because she’s in California and I’ve got the three girls. We decided that on Valentine’s Day I’ll take the girls out for a “Valentines Date.” What a fun memory that will make for them over the years!!
Don’t worry… Tamara and I will get our Valentine’s date on the weekends when we can get out long enough to get a nice dinner and watch a movie :)

  1. Sounds great! I loved going on dates with my dad. They were always very special and I’m very thankful for them.
Funny note on Mary Joy and Esther. They love that I’m into fashion, so we always pick out fun outfits for them when I’m watching them. On Valentine’s Day–we picked out their outfits and they were entirely pink!! hahah It was so great. I was so proud;)
