The staff just said goodbye to our summer interns with a little help from the Westside Bakery. Caitlin leaves in the morning and Rachel heads to China in two weeks. It was a blast having them on board and pioneering a program that we hope to have 15 – 20 college students in next summer!

Summer Swamp Days were a hit with the Wytsma girls… and I’m betting that they were with lots of other kids as well!! P.S. The girls won the “penny wars” – the spare change competition that raised over $360 to benefit Uganda. Till next year…

Summer Swamp is here!! Antioch’s summer kids program kicked off this morning at Blakely Park in Bend. Caitlin, one of our summer interns, has done an amazing job getting everything set up and organized… so much so, that we’re all pestering her about moving to Bend when she graduates at the end of this school

There are already 8 people signed up for our Baptism in the Deschutes coming up on August 12th!! I think we may have as many as 15 to 20 adults getting baptized on the 12th!! It’s pretty easy to say… this is the kind of thing I’m in ministry for :)
