Pretty excited about the new ministry placement program that Courtney Christenson and Justin Lavik have been working on at Antioch.
I think that lack of commitment usually comes from lack of clarity… in other words, we don’t know what we were made to do and therefore we don’t have confidence to pursue it.
Another way to say it is that confusion of calling leads to uncertainty in ministry and clarity of calling leads to confidence in ministry.
The P.L.A.C.E. Ministry (personality, likes, abilities, calling and experiences) is designed specifically to bring clarity and lead to confidence.
Our goal is to have 100% of the people in our church committed to a ministry in the church and a mission in the world. I think this program will go a long way in helping us reach that goal.
