One of the interesting parts of being a “tabernacle church” (set up and take down) and meeting in the theatre are the new movie posters and displays each week. Here is Conor Miller sitting in the newest one… a bigger than life “Simpson’s” display set right in front of our coffee area!!
We’ve got three or four website projects that we’re sitting on because there just isn’t enough “web help” around. If anyone knows somebody who is good at building web sites and wouldn’t mind taking on a project for Antioch, contact me and I’ll be forever grateful!! [email protected]
This past Sunday the Middle School ministry joined with the High School and did a “Shrek Marathon.” They watched Shrek 1 and Shrek 2 on a screen at the theatre during the morning while the rest of us were in church, and then they bought tickets and watched Shrek 3 shortly after the service finished.
My friend Jake Hendrix is teaching at Antioch this Sunday… It’s a good thing… because it’s definitely time to take a break when you’re tired of hearing yourself teach!! Anyway, I think it’ll be a treat for everyone to hear Jake open the word of God.
