Here are some pictures of the family from Memorial Day. The Cascade Lakes Highway is now open so we headed up to Elk Lake. Burgers, the dock, amazing weather and still some snow banks — the girls had an amazing time!! (The only mistake was bringing Peaches the killer poodle.)
We hit up the park last night with a bucket of KFC to celebrate Ashlin’s “half birthday.” Half birthday’s are kind of a family tradition with us (waiting a whole year is too long!). Not quite sure that at 6 months Ashlin knew what was going on, but Bend is at its best right now

Good news… we just confirmed our reservation for the family to get away to Mount Hermon this summer! It seems like Tamara and I dream about vacations all the time these days – probably because they’re hard to come by with 4 kids and a dog. Anyway, we’re absolutely stoked about a whole week at

When out snowmobiling with my dad this week on his machines. An hour in to Elk Lake Lodge, an hour coffee break and an hour back. Hit 70 mph at one point – then thought better of it. Good times!!
Never in my life did I ever sit around and imagine that I’d be watching a ballet class. Guess what… Life is funny that way!!
